This email list provides a forum to discuss birds and birding in New Hampshire, including recent sightings of rare and not-so-rare birds, conservation issues, and upcoming field trips. It’s free to join, but you must subscribe to post or receive messages.

NH Rare Bird Alert GroupMe
This group messaging app provides quick, real-time updates about rare bird sightings. It’s especially useful if you want instant notifications in the field without sifting through email lists.
The group is hidden from the public, but you can join using this link: NH Rare Bird Alert GroupMe. Be sure to read the group rules, which are posted at the top of the NH RBA page.
eBird New Hampshire Portal
New Hampshire Bird Records hosts the New Hampshire portal to eBird. Click the Explore tab to check reports for a species, region, or hotspot.
Want to track rarities? Log in and go to My eBird > Manage My Alerts to set up customized rare bird alerts.
NH Rare Bird Alert
Stay current with New Hampshire’s Rare Bird Alert:

Raptor Migration
Want to follow the spectacle of raptor migration in spring and fall?
Visit HawkCount, the online database of the Hawk Migration Association of North America (HMANA), to view counts from across the continent.
You can also subscribe to BirdHawk, HMANA’s listserv, for real-time updates from individual sites or receive a BirdHawk Digest, a daily compilation of counts.
